We built our Garage Door Cable Repair service around Redway, CA customers who need a specialist, not a generalist working outside their depth.
This specialization is why Redway, CA customers call us back for the same issue instead of shopping around each time.
A cable slipped off its drum gets diagnosed for the underlying cause, not just re-seated.
We use cables rated to your door's actual weight and spring tension.
Cables work under spring tension — we release tension safely before replacement.
A visibly fraying cable is treated as a near-term emergency.
Even a few loose strands mean a cable is close to failing under load — we inspect both cables even when only one shows visible wear.
A cable that's already snapped usually means the door dropped or hangs crooked — emergency replacement is stocked specifically because this can't wait.
A cable that's slipped off its drum causes uneven hanging — we re-seat it and correct the underlying cause.
Extension spring systems should run safety cables to prevent whip-back — we add these where missing.
The bracket anchoring the cable to the door corrodes over time — rust and corrosion at the anchor get addressed before they cause sudden release.
